At Spotlight Oral Care, sustainability is at the core of our products and our values. This Earth Day, to celebrate the theme Restore Our Earth, we have created a new Conscious Oral Care Kit. This specially curated collection contains some of our best-loved, earth-friendly oral care essentials, including our Dental Floss for Whitening Teeth, Toothpaste for Whitening Teeth and a Bamboo Toothbrush.

Unlike other oral care brands, at Spotlight Oral Care, we believe that looking after your oral health shouldn't have to cost the earth. By making sustainable swaps to your beauty and oral care routines, you can make a huge difference to the health of our planet, and your own health, too.

The harsh reality of plastic packaging:

• 1.5 billion empty tubes end up in landfill every year
• It takes 500 years for plastic tubes to dissolve 

Our oral care solutions are clean, clinically proven, vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. Did you know that our dental floss is actually made from recycled plastic bottles? Each one of our dental floss rolls is created using two plastic bottles that would otherwise end up in our oceans. Our innovative dental floss range will help you to reduce build up of plaque and stop decay while doing good for the planet, too. 

Bamboo is a super sustainable material that you'll find in both our natural Bamboo Toothbrushes and Interdental Bamboo Brushes. Not only is bamboo 100% biodegradable and ocean safe, it's also naturally antimicrobial, which means it’s more hygienic than your standard plastic toothbrush. Suitable for adults, children and sensitive teeth, bamboo toothbrushes are a great plastic alternative. 

Another one of our favourite sustainable innovations is our sugarcane toothpaste tubes. Generic toothpaste tubes are made from a combination of crude oil and aluminium, deeming them unrecyclable. Our toothpaste tubes are made from sugarcane, a fully renewable resource, grown responsibly in Brazil, making them 100% recyclable and earth-kind and can decompose in just 90 days once discarded.
